Better quality control, please
SUPERMARKET chain FairPrice should improve its quality control to ensure its outlets do not sell products of questionable quality.
The process should apply particularly to the fresh produce it sells at a discount.
There were two occasions when I bought fruits of questionable quality from FairPrice outlets. On both occasions, the fruits were packed in punnets, so it was not easy to check their quality.
After finding several berries of bad quality, I decided to take a close look at the rest. It was then that I saw they were mouldy.
Last Sunday, FairPrice offered cherries at a special price. This time, I was more careful. I took a close look at the bottom of the punnet and noticed mould on the cherries.
I am now hesitant to buy fruits packed in punnets from FairPrice.
