Fine trolley recalcitrants
EVERY day, there are a lot of NTUC FairPrice trolleys at the void deck of Block 659D, Jurong West Street 65, blocking the passageway and causing inconvenience to residents.

These are left behind by inconsiderate customers who do not return the trolleys after use and simply discard them at the void deck at their own convenience.
FairPrice will lose the trolleys if nobody returns them and they are costly to replace.
I suggest that FairPrice get its staff to document the identity card numbers of customers who want to push the trolleys away from the supermarket. It should issue a fine if the customers do not return these trolleys after use.

Yup, provide a borrower notice/ rental chit that can be demanded for viewing by any public citizen.
Without which, a citizen's arrest may be made and the police called in to investigate.
